Stefania is a highly accomplished European lawyer with extensive expertise in Italy and across Europe. Her distinguished career spans banking, asset management, project finance, construction and the railway industry, with significant achievements in both private practice and in-house roles. She has worked on high-profile cross-border legal projects, corporate restructuring, asset management, and complex litigation, making her a trusted advisor for clients navigating international legal challenges.

Stefania graduated with honors in Law from Rome and earned a Master’s degree in Commercial and Corporate Law from the London School of Economics (LSE). She is dual-qualified as an Italian lawyer and an English solicitor, initially gaining her UK qualification in the banking department of Clifford Chance.

Her career includes notable accomplishments:
•    As an in-house lawyer at the European Investment Bank, Stefania contributed to structuring EU infrastructure and environmental programs.
•    She served as Vice President in J.P. Morgan’s asset management division, overseeing legal and compliance matters for the Milan and Madrid offices, as well as Luxembourg-based European funds.
•    Stefania later joined the Italian national railway group, Ferrovie dello Stato, where she played a pivotal role in the group’s restructuring. She subsequently became General Counsel at Rete Ferroviaria Italiana (Italy’s equivalent of Network Rail), managing legal issues and disputes related to infrastructure, technology, signaling, telecommunications, procurement, and construction.

Stefania is also trained as a civil and commercial mediator and serves as an arbitrator at the Milan International Chamber of Commerce. Fluent in Italian and English, with full working experience in French and Spanish, she brings a multilingual and multicultural perspective to her practice.
